A Snail’s Pace Inc. (ASP) was established by Dave Reynolds in 1979 as Loeschhorn’s, in 1995 it incorporated under its current name. In 1992, Dave met Edward Johnson both were members of a running club in Newport Beach, they became fast friends and Ed joined Dave in 1993. Tiffany, Edwards wife later joined ASP in 2000.

ASP is a retailer of the largest selection of New Balance footwear, apparel and accessories in Southern California. ASP carries a wide range of running, walking, cross training, trail, baseball, soccer and court shoes with over 200 styles and 5,000 pairs in sizes. ASP uses a unique 5-Step Fit Process to scan the foot and analyze the arch, length, height, pressure points, and foot strike to recommend the appropriate footwear. ASP current operates five locations, four in Orange County Brea, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa and Mission Viejo and one in LA County in Monrovia.
