The small business development corporation, or SBDC-OC, is among 25 Super Summit sponsors which include Chase Bank, Citi Bank and US Bank, among others. The development corporation also helped sponsor the real estate association’s commercial finance seminar in April and gave a presentation.

The AREAA has more than 17,000 paid members and furthers Asian American home ownership by providing insights and knowledge that real estate professionals need to serve the Asian American markets.

“I am honored to have been asked to be a participant in this year’s Super Summit conference at the historic Huntington Library,” said Armando Romero, a principal of Equipoint Capital Advisors in Whittier and a board director with the Small Business Development Corporation of Orange County.

“We [SBDC-OC] have continued to provide guidance on access to capital through the Small Business Loan Guarantee Program to many of the AREAA’s commercial realtors. Our earlier presentation in April provided information to the association’s members about this program. Many in attendance had no prior knowledge of this available credit enhancement option.”

The Super Summit will be held from 9 – 5 p.m. Information and registration is available at https://glaareaa.org/meetinginfo.php
