In celebration of the Juneteenth federal holiday, Small Business Development Corporation of Orange County will close for business on Wednesday, June 19.
This day commemorates the final end of slavery in 1865, more than two years after the issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation, with the freeing of enslaved peoples in Texas.
