On Friday, March 20, SBDC-OC leadership attended the Inland Empire Small Business Community Roundtable hosted by its partners AmPac Business Capital in Ontario. Attendees were honored to hear from newly appointed chief executive officer and executive director of the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (IBank) Andy Nakahata who gave insights into his role and IBank’s programs supporting entrepreneurs. Joining him was Elmy Bermejo, director of the California Office of the Small Business Advocate with information about her role as the state’s small business advocate and the agency’s deployment of services and capital access to the Inland Empire. “Congrats to our partner Hilda Kennedy, founder and chief executive officer of AmPac Business Capital on a fantastic and informative event,” said SBDC-OC Chief Executive Officer Michael Ocasio.
